Dear Users! I Welcomes you to the Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya Library! Our library is dedicated to providing the best resources and services to support the academic and research needs of our students, faculty, and staff. The College Central Library was established in 1963, with the establishment of college. The Central Library of Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya is a proud resource which manages knowledge, both in print and digital format. The Central Library ensures easy and anytime access to the scholarly resources and provides faculty members and students with all the support to collect, evaluate and manage information pertaining all the streams of Art’s, Science & Commerce run by Yeshwant Mahavidyalaya, Nanded.

The Central Library is a part of the institute-wide network built around a fiber optic backbone comprising of High speed switches. Institutes backbone in turn is connected to 100 Mbps of Internet leased line from Airtel.

In the Digital Library section has latest PC’s to access the online journals, e-Resources and video lectures. The library having PC’s are meant for users to access WebOPAC, e-databases, e-books, e-journals and other e-resources. The reading section in the library is WI-Fi enabled to provide wireless access to the Internet. The library provides free of charge internet facility to all its users for searching and browsing e-books, e-journals and Video lectures etc. from all other resources.

The Library is fully functioning with UGC-INFLIBNET recommended LMS software package. Which is an integrated multi-user library management system, that supports all housekeeping operations of the Library. The library is having WebOPAC which can be access remotely. Library has a separate website. The library tries to reflect all vibrant and productive organizations, strives to keep pace with a global, dynamic, and technology-enabled information environment to meet the expectations of its users.

The library subscribes various e-databases like e-ShodhSindhu a N-LIST consortium project of UGC-INFONET. It is being regularly subscribed since from last 18 years. N-LIST provides 6000+ e-journals, 3,00,000+ e-books and 6,00,000 e-books through NDL users of this library can access all these e-resources from campus as well as from out of campus. Apart from e-resources library spent near about Rs.5.00 Lakhs+ annually on print and non book reading material.

The library is rich in all respects. Users of the library makes maximum use of these resources. Hence, library remains a place of crowed in the college campus.  

Our mission is to create a conducive environment for learning and research, and we achieve this through our team of professional librarian and library staff who are always available to provide assistance and guidance to our users. We also organize various workshops, seminars, and training sessions to help our users develop their research skills.
