Annual Fundraising Campaign 2025/26

Thanks to your generosity, YMCI School Council’s Annual Fundraising Campaign has raised close to 90% of our $7,500 goal!

As we approach Giving Tuesday on December 2, the world’s largest generosity movement, we invite you to help us get to 100%. If you have not donated already, please head over to 👉 School Cash Online to help us meet the goal before we close the campaign.

Our primary focus will help fund over 20 Initiatives this year including:

🔬 STEM Learning: Purchasing 6 Microscope Substage Illuminators, 12 PASCO Wireless Motion Sensors, a Bambu P1S 3D Printer and essential supplies;

📚 Upgrade to our existing IXL Subscription to support more ESL/ELL learners;

🎶 Music: Acquiring 5 HiFi Bose and Ion Pathfinder Wireless Speakers;

🏀 Facilities: Funding for YMCI’s new indoor telescopic bleachers;

🏆 Student Excellence: Awards and grants for student clubs and initiatives;

👪 Family Assistance: Support for YMCI families in need;

🗣️ Guest Speaker Series: Virtual talks and workshops on topics like student success, higher education, career paths, and A.I.

Making a contribution is simple:

1. Log in to School Cash Online.

2. Find “School Council Annual Fundraising 2025/26” under your student’s items.

3. Choose your amount and complete your donation ($25, $50, $100, or a combination).

Note: Tax-deductible donations can be made through the York Mills TDSB Donation Page. Please specify “School Council” under “Initiative”.

Please check also with your employer about Matching Gift Programs, which can double or even triple your donation to our school at no extra cost to you.

Dear YMCI Families,

We are delighted to announce our 2025–26 Annual Fundraising Campaign, launching Wednesday October 15th, 2025. Your past generosity has enabled real, tangible benefits for our students, and we look forward to your continued support in building on our shared impact.

Examples of the Impact of Your Contributions 2024/25

Multiple In-person and Virtual Talks/Workshops for Parents/Guardians & Students (fostering community and providing high value content) and our first edition of the YMCI French Fest.
Wireless Headsets for Tech Crew & Staff Advisors (improving communication and event coordination)
High-Precision Digital Scales & Microscope Adapters (enriching lab work and investigations).

Our Focus in 2025‑26 (Projected Funding of over 20 projects)

- - STEM Classroom Technology Upgrades and interactive tools such as speakers and motion sensors, and new online learning resources subscriptions,
  - Events & Programs to explore different Career Paths (Grade 9 - Grade 12)
  - Support for Clubs & Student Leadership Opportunities.
