Welcome! I am an economist at the Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA). I am working for the Integrated Substance Use and Addiction Programs (ISAP). Prior to this, I received my PhD in economics in 2024. My research interests lie in innovation, economic history, and healthcare. My current projects center on the following two themes:
How do institutions and policies influence the development and diffusion of technologies? What are the impacts of publicly funded technology on local productivity growth?
What are the consequences of regulating administrative hassles in specialized healthcare services?
I am collecting and building novel historical datasets to track technology changes.
