Star Child created by the team Blue Tomato is a 2.5D Top-down Exploration RPG with an emphasis on art direction and a cryptic narrative. Set within Starland, play as the Star Child who recently sprouted from the ‘Star Tree’, as they explore the abandoned ‘Starland’ left behind by the former inhabitants and try to bring back prosperity to the island. Take control of the Star Child and uncover the mystery behind the island of Star Land.
Blue Tomato was a GDS6 team created for our capstone project. The team is art-oriented and each member has their unique talents. During the development, there were a total of 5 members who worked on this project Lan, the Art lead; Nova, the Illustrator; Henry, the writer; and I, the producer. Sadie was a huge help in the early stages of development but unfortunately left during mid development.
An Overwatch-inspired diorama project
In my final build, I found myself leaning towards building a darker atmosphere rather than Ireland's light and cheerful daytime capitals. In this project, I was trying to create a stormy day while enemy drones are on the mission to investigate the ongoing criminal activities between the two different sides of the cities. The boat sitting in the middle of the water caused a car crash is fleeting from the crime scene. I have put an over-dramatic red light over the ship to emphasize the tension and atmosphere of that glimpse of time.

Lost in Train Station is a project that was built in the course of 12 weeks, with a strong focus on foreign linguistics. Players will have to navigate through the foreign language to finally reach their lovely aunt.
