I am Yiwei. I come from a small village surrounded by mountains in the middle of China.

I have a useless skill—remembering random numbers I saw.
My dream in high school was to be a physical geographer. Until now, I still love being close to nature.
Soccer is the sport I enjoy the most. I have been playing since I was 14 and co-founded and served as the captain of the women's soccer team of Wuhan University.
I always want to travel to Spain, so I learned Spanish during my Ph.D.
I love traveling. Places I have been to: USA (AZ, CA, CO, NM, TX, WI, OH, FL), Canada (Vancouver), Colombia (Bogotá, Santa Marta, Cartagena), Netherlands (Amsterdam, Leiden, Delft, Tilburg), Czech Republic (Prague, Brno), Germany (Frankfurt, Rothenburg), Austria (Innsbruck), Italy (Venice, Verona, Milan), Switzerland (Luzern, Zurich), France (Paris, Strasbourg), and my homeland, China.
I have a cat. His name is Mochi. He also has a Spanish name: Mochila (backpack), because he loves lying on backpacks.
