Chapter History

Yitzhak Rabin AZA was originally known as Kol Hadror BBYO, a co-ed chapter that was part of the King of Prussia and Upper Merion areas of Montgomery County. However, in February of 2014, Kol Hadror BBYO reached 80 combined members and it was decided that it was time to split into a King of Prussia AZA (for males) and a King of Prussia BBG (for females). The motion was drafted by the current Aleph Godol of Kol Hadror, Marshall Noye, read by Aleph Jacob Schwack, and seconded by the Alephs of Kol Hadror BBYO.

King of Prussia AZA would eventually change its name to Yitzhak Rabin AZA #2562 and King of Prussia BBG changed its name to Kol Echad BBG #2555.

The chapter was originally part of the King of Prussia and Upper Merion areas of Montgomery County, but changed the location based on its charter to Bryn Mawr, PA, in 2014 and became the quintessential chapter to follow in Liberty. This chapter encompasses the western Suburbs of Philadelphia (south of the Schuylkill River), including Lower Merion, Radnor, Haverford, and Upper Merion. Without a doubt, Yitzhak Rabin AZA #2562 has grown immensely since its original 5 members!

Our incredibly attractive chapter, plus alumni! (c. Dec. 2018)
