HISTORY

 Yit Foh Tenom Coffee is one of the oldest and most famous coffee makers in Sabah, Malaysia. It helped make Tenom known for its coffee. The company started in 1960 by Mr. Yong Loong Vun in Kampung Chinta Mata, Tenom. At first, it was a small factory that made high-quality coffee powder. From the beginning, Yit Foh used traditional coffee-making methods, roasting Robusta beans over wood fire to make the strong smell and special taste that Tenom Coffee is famous for.

Over the years, Yit Foh Tenom Coffee grew under the next generation. In 1993, a new factory was built to make more coffee and sell it outside Sabah. Today, Yit Foh sells many kinds of coffee, including black coffee, white coffee, café latte mixes, and even special flavors like durian coffee. This way, both people who like traditional coffee and new coffee lovers can enjoy it.

Yit Foh also helps tourists learn about coffee. The Yit Foh Coffee Park is now a place where visitors can see how coffee is roasted, taste fresh coffee, and learn about the history of Sabah coffee. This shows the culture and tradition of Tenom coffee.
