What's a Pack Walk?
For one hour, my helper dogs and I will take your dog out on a walk that is structured to provide reinforcement training and an opportunity for healthy exercise. My two standard poodles have been trained and socialized to assist in helping dogs practice good behavior by being a positive influence and good role models. Pack walks are extremely beneficial and incredibly healing for dogs to experience as all dogs are social pack animals. Dogs have the natural desire to go for long walks as this provides dogs an outlet for their energy promoting a more balanced mental state and healthier body. A Pack Walk provides the perfect balance of structure and freedom for your dog!

When Should I Use This Service?
Pack Walks are for clients who have gone through at least one in-home lesson, this is to keep expectations of training goals clear and consistent. This service is helpful for maintaining your dog on the right track with their leash walking skills and socialization. All walks are done in your neighborhood and can be done even when you're not home, this can be helpful for busy dog owners!
What Will My Dog Learn?
Every dog will receive one hour of both mental and physical stimulation which means you will have a tired dog! Pack Walks reinforce many current training activities such as sitting at doorways, not pulling on the leash and practicing calmness around distractions. During the walk, a potty break is always offered along with some time for your dog to sniff and explore a grassy area. The majority of the walk, your dog will be traveling with my pack in your neighborhood.
