Welcome to Yinmo App ("we," "our," or "us"). We are committed to protecting your personal privacy and ensuring a secure, transparent experience for all users of our mobile application and related web services.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our platform, whether you are a Car Owner seeking vehicle damage analysis and repair estimates, a Repair Shop Owner managing services and labor rates, or an Insurance Provider.
By downloading, accessing, or using the Yinmo App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree with our policies and practices, please do not use our application.
We collect information across several categories to provide, maintain, and improve our services:
Account Registration Data: Full name, email address, phone number, password, and account role (Car Owner, Repair Shop Owner, or Insurance Provider).
Profile & Business Information: Profile pictures, repair shop details, business address, labor rate configurations, service offerings, and insurance details.
Vehicle & Damage Data: Vehicle model details, license plate numbers, and uploaded or captured photographs/videos of vehicle damage for AI damage analysis.
In-App Communications: Messages sent via our real-time chat facility between Car Owners and Repair Shop Owners, as well as inquiries sent to customer support.
Device Information: Device type, operating system version (iOS or Android), unique device identifiers (such as Device ID or Identifier for Vendor), and mobile network details.
Log Data & Diagnostics: IP addresses, access timestamps, app crash logs, performance metrics, and feature interaction analytics.
Subscription Billing: When Repair Shop Owners purchase subscription plans (Starter, Business, Pro), payments are processed securely by Apple In-App Purchase (iOS) or Google Play Billing (Android). We do not directly collect, process, or store complete credit card or debit card numbers on our servers; we only store confirmation receipts and active package identifiers.
We use the collected information for the following legitimate business purposes:
Core Service Delivery: To generate AI-powered damage analysis reports, estimate repair costs, and process repair booking requests between Car Owners and Repair Shops.
Account Management: To create, authenticate, and manage user accounts, verify shop credentials (certified/verified badges), and manage subscription tiers.
Communication: To facilitate real-time chat between users and send push notifications regarding booking statuses, estimates, and updates.
Platform Improvement: To analyze performance, train and refine AI accuracy, eliminate bugs, and optimize user experience.
Security & Compliance: To protect against unauthorized access, fraud, and policy violations, and to comply with tax, accounting, and insurance regulations.
IMPORTANT
No Sale of Personal Data
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
We share your information only in the following limited scenarios:
Between Platform Users: To facilitate repair bookings, necessary details (such as damage photos, vehicle model, estimated costs, and chat messages) are shared directly between Car Owners and chosen Repair Shop Owners/Insurance Providers.
Service Providers: We engage trusted third-party cloud hosting, AI processing, and database service providers who process data strictly on our behalf under comprehensive confidentiality agreements.
Legal Requirements: We may disclose personal data if required by law, court orders, or legitimate regulatory inquiries.
We implement robust technical and organizational security controls, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and strict access controls, to safeguard your personal data.
Active Accounts: Data is retained while your account remains active.
Account Deletion: Upon confirmation of account deletion, personal credentials, profile photos, damage photos, and chat histories are permanently deleted or fully anonymized within 30 days. Completed transaction summaries and invoices may be retained for up to 5 years exclusively for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
