因疫情擴散暫阻了國際交流,原本的國際化、全球村榮景,轉變為強調距離感的隔離防疫。「宅」字被票選為2021台灣代表字,反映了新時代的社會變化。「宅經濟」當道的社會也改變了文化的保存推廣、創意的展現實踐、以及產業的發展型態。因應宅生活型態,「文化創意產業」中的「服務經濟」由此盛行!科技的發展讓傳統服務產業展開全新局面:華麗的科技必須有豐盛的內容來鋪陳,精彩的敘事需要多樣的媒體來呈現。文化創意產業於宅經濟時代的敘事切入點,就在於將創意運用於數位科技、將文化敘事扎實推廣、進而創造商業價值。

Collaborative Online International Learning (COIL) Exchange Project is to create online peer partnerships with students at The Hague University of Applied Sciences (THUAS) 荷蘭海牙大學, the Netherland. The focus lies on Intercultural Communication in the NLs & English majors in Taiwan. The students from both universities collaborate on a 4-week COIL/VE project.
