Program Intro

YHS STARTALK HINDI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM 2020 is now YHS STARTALK HINDI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM 2021. We will communicate to all accepted applicants of YHS-STARTALK HINDI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM 2020 by email about the 2021 dates and venue of YHS STARTALK HINDI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM 2021. Currently we are working with North Penn School District for final decisions about 2021 dates and venue of YHS-STARTALK HINDI LANGUAGE AND CULTURE PROGRAM 2021.

The program was designed to make sure all learners demonstrate comprehension knowledge and learn to the best of their abilities. Rich visuals based authentic material engaged learners in thinking, pairing and sharing ideas and performing activities and tasks in the three modes of communication leading to improve their speaking, reading and writing abilities.Novice and intermediate students will present on the final day of the program.

Program Details

Our instructors stay at program site where we meet daily to review program outcome. Learners will engage in varieties of topic based performance activities including games, songs, dances, skits, maps and picture based activities.

They will learn about places to see, historical landmarks, artifacts, and activities that apply to both tourism and cultural exploration. They will explore, interpret and analyze culturally authentic Indian products, practices, and perspectives (Interpretive); discuss, deconstruct and debate new understandings they gained from the authentic input (Interpersonal); and present their work to classmates for critique (Presentational).

On the final day students will present their work to an audience of invited guests and parents.Our goal is to improve literacy skills of all students in Hindi.
