When I am designing specialty purefumes from botanical fragrances, I craft them using absolutely no synthetic or petrochemical-based aroma chemicals, (which have been known to damage our immune systems or even cause certain allergies). Many synthetic perfumes disperse very intense, invasive or persistent fragrance characteristics that are not only monotone, but overpowering. My use of only natural botanicals work with your individual body chemistry in subtle, dynamic ways, gradually revealing with the warmth of your skin, the multi-layered complexities of each element creating a unique aura of your own personal beauty and inner harmony.

Hand crafted NEROLI-ORANGE BLOSSOM PURE-FUMES Neroli or Orange Blossom essential oil has been around for centuries, but wasn’t discovered until the 17th century. And was so named for Anna Maria de la Tremoille, Princess of Nerola who used it extensively on everything from her hair and skin to her stationery. She even had all her ships sails perfumed with the beautiful blossoms so the scent preceded her wherever she went. No wonder she was so loved.

Neroli (Orange Blossom Essential Oil) is beloved by almost everyone. It's soft, rich floral aroma is delicate and warm, with a fresh citrus quality. If you’ve ever had the experience of strolling through an Citrus Orchard containing Orange trees during their blossoming time, you would have thought you entered into heaven.

WHERE NEROLI comes from:

The luxurious scent of Neroli essential oil comes from the delicate blossoms of either the bitter orange tree or sweet orange tree. Knock-offs and cheaper neroli oils may be adulterated by the leaves (petitgrain), or with other citrus flowers, leaves and twigs, or even so far as diluting the essential oil to stretch it out.

The best Neroli comes from the bitter orange tree.

This blossom produces a scent a bit more complex and warming than others.

It takes thousands of petals plucked before the sun has a chance to rise to produce a tiny amount of the precious oil,

--no wonder the cost of pure Neroli essential oil is so costly!

Though for all its amazing virtues, remains worth every penny.

There are fewer and farther-between places to find it, but with over 20 years in the essential oil journey, I've come across some of the best.

• · Purefum No. 09; Frankincense, Neroli & Bergamot perfect blend of fragrance to aid relaxation and well-being. Neroli - an uplifting and comforting oil - is combined with the stress-relieving properties of Bergamot and the balancing and rejuvenating properties of Frankincense.

• · Purefum No. 24 Sensual Neroli blend has East Indian Mysore Sandalwood, Neroli from local growers and Tunisia and the lovely Indian Jasmine.

• · Purefum No. 07 has energizing Pink Grapefruit and Tunisian Neroli for a wonderful fresh citrus floral scent that perks you up anytime.

• · Purefum No.18 A rare beauty in our repertoire. Will not be available for long. Included in this unique blend is the very rare Michelia Alba flower oil (amazing all by itself and even better when synergized!) This is a wonderful purefum including our very favorite Michelia Alba and also favorites Neroli, Bergamot, East Indian Sandalwood, with just a hint of Oakmoss. Truly a rare beauty!

• · Purefum No. 71 Love is alive with this marvelous alluring scent that honors Ylang Ylang extra, Bergamot, sweet orange blossom and Madagascar Vanilla absolute essential oils with the earthy grounding vetiver to stabilize the blend.

PLEASE NOTE:

When I make a customized PUREFUM blend it takes some time for singular oils to "marry" and become a symphony of your unique aroma-blend.

These purefumes need time to meld together, and actually become better with age.

Most purefumes need at least 4-6 weeks at the least, to develop into "one" harmonious fragrance, even though they smell divine at first impression: by letting them develop over time, it gives them the space to become more than their singular scents.
