What are our teachers up to?

We will really miss seeing all your lovely children's faces during this time however we hope your children enjoy checking up on this page to see the photos of what us teachers are getting up to! :) Maybe you can take photos of what you are getting up to with your children. We would love to see all the wonderful learning you are doing with your children and all the fun you are also getting up to. We are all thinking of your children and we are still there for them and yourselves.

Uh oh, Miss Slydel and Maisie are making a mess!

Miss Slydel and her Baby, Maisie, have been making slime today.

If you want to make some at home all you need is cornflour, water and food colouring - Maybe you could have a go and write instructions on how to make slime for your friends!

Miss. Dearle took her dog for a long walk today in the beautiful sunshine. She is very sleepy now and is having a long nap for the rest of the afternoon while Miss. Dearle rings some more of your parents to check you are all okay :)

Monday morning baking!

Today I decided to do some baking.

As you can see I get a bit messy when baking!

I made chocolate muffins, if you would like to have a go here is the recipe.

I'd love to see you baking at home so please send any pictures to the office.

Have fun!

120ml Milk

3. Pipe out the muffin mixture into the muffin tin.

4. Sprinkle chocolate chip on top and bake in 180°C oven for 25 minutes.

Miss. Dearle was in school last week and got up to lots of exciting things with the children whose parents are keyworkers.

She made playdough and salt dough handprints with the children. The children also enjoyed doing some junk modelling and playing with the water in the sunshine! What a lovely week it was.

Miss. Slydel has really missed teaching you so has decided to start home schooling Maisie. Today we have been learning how to sit at a table. Miss. Slydel has realised Maisie is a lot cheekier than you guys and isn't listening to the teacher!

Mrs T-J has been very busy doing lots of arts and crafts and sending letters to her friends to make sure they know how much she misses them all!

If you want to practise your halves and make some friendships to post to people you love here are the instructions, you might need an adult to help you until you get the hang of it.

Miss. Slydel has been trying to keep Maisie busy by taking her on lots of walks. On sunday we went for a walk in the woods near her house.

Last week Miss. Dearle was in work with the key worker children. She made gingerbread men with them and also organised a seaside themed day with pirate dressing up, boat and windmill making and some water play!

It was Miss. Dearle's Mum's birthday on Saturday. She decorated the lounge with lots of balloons and went out and had a picnic in the sunshine. She also got dressed up for a video call with all her Mum's friends!

Mrs T-J has been out in the garden again, this time shes been making planters for her tomatoes and other veggies - Yum!
