I am a career diplomat with over 13 years of experience in the Mongolian diplomatic service, currently based in London, with prior experience in Brussels. My educational journey began in Mongolia, and I've further developed my skills through diverse training programs in countries such as India, New Zealand, Switzerland, and the UK. I pursued my master's degree in Diplomatic Studies at the University of Oxford. My unwavering passion lies in my pursuit of becoming a world-class diplomat, dedicated to advancing international relations and diplomacy on a global scale.

Unurmaa Janchiv (Unro), Honorary Cultural Envoy of Mongolia to the UK & Producer

I leverage my experience in international relations and cultural diplomacy to promote Mongolia on the global stage, advocating for soft power and cultural exchange at international events. As a Creative Industries Consultant, I work with embassies, arts councils, and government bodies to foster cultural exchange. I collaborate with media and cultural giants like the BBC, the Royal Opera House and Cardiff Singer of the World and curate exhibitions and cultural events at prestigious venues like Oxford & Cambridge Universities, Asia House and Mongolian State Opera and ballet and National Broadcasting. As International Arts & Cultural Relations Manager, I champion underrepresented Mongolian talent: world-class opera singers, rising designers, and innovative creatives. I facilitate connections between British, international, and Mongolian artists, fostering a vibrant cultural exchange. A testament to this mission was co-producing the critically acclaimed theatrical spectacular, "The Mongol Khan," in 2023 at London Coliseum. This project brought together Mongolian and UK creatives, solidifying the kind of international collaborations I strive to cultivate.

Tyra brings a wealth of experience as a senior visits and events manager, with highlights including her involvement in major events like the AI Summit. Holding a Post Graduate degree in Diplomatic Studies from Oxford University, she actively engaged with influential leaders and Ambassadors as a Board Member of the Oxford Diplomatic Society, solidifying her dedication to making a positive global impact.

 

Beyond her professional roles, Tyra is the creative mind behind Culture Scoop, a digital platform focused on exploring culture. Her initiative not only secured significant funding but also earned recognition on BBC radio and received multiple awards, showcasing her entrepreneurial spirit.

 

During her time in the USA, Tyra left her mark across diverse institutions, earning recognition such as the City of Los Angeles Award for her exceptional contributions. Her expertise in cultural and digital diplomacy is evident through her various talks, thesis publications, and more.

Aaron Akinyemi, a multimedia journalist, producer and broadcaster at the BBC

Aaron Akinyemi is a multimedia journalist, producer and broadcaster at the BBC. He has over a decade of TV, online, radio and print experience from leading organisations and programmes such as BBC World Service/BBC Africa, BBC1 News at 6 & 10, BBC2, BBC3, BBC Newsnight, ITV News, CNN International, The Guardian, Newsweek magazine, the Australian Broadcasting Corporation and the International Business Times, among others. He has filmed and reported from the US for the 2020 Presidential Elections, Japan for the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, and also filmed in Tanzania, Ethiopia, DR Congo, Djibouti, Kenya, Brussels, Delhi, Bonn, Warsaw and the Caribbean. Aaron is a 2013 McGill Echenberg Human Rights Fellow and was longlisted for the 2019 Guardian/Fourth Estate Bame Short Story Prize. As a model, he has walked in a number of catwalk shows in London and Milan for designers including Justin Cassin, Ghaziani and Munetaka Yokoyama, and has been featured in Vogue Mexico, Harper's Bazaar France and Elle Magazine.

Saskia Jiggens, a cultural strategist and former radio presenter

With an extensive background in creative programming, Saskia has worked on several leading public art trails across London, from Mayfair to Nine Elms, collaborating with residents, property developers, landlords, brands and public bodies. Saskia was previously Head of Communications and Engagement at Kensington + Chelsea Art Week and in 2022 she directed one of the largest public poetry initiatives in the UK across the Borough. Saskia is a champion of grassroots projects and community initiatives that inspire connection and foster civic pride. Her passionate approach encourages participation and embodies a commitment to heritage and legacy, utilising creative expression to cultivate international and cross-cultural exchange. 

Sallinder Rai, Community & Events Fundraising Manager of The Felix Project

With over a decade of experience in community and events fundraising, Sallinder Rai is a dedicated advocate for social impact and positive change.

Currently serving as the Community & Events Fundraising Manager at The Felix Project heads up initiatives to raise vital funds and

awareness for the organisation's mission to tackle food poverty and food waste. With a solid foundation built on a decade-long career in event management, Sallinder's expertise is further reinforced by their alumni status at the esteemed Event Academy. Armed with comprehensive knowledge and practical experience, Sallinder orchestrates seamless events that resonate with participants and stakeholders alike. Motivated by a passionate desire to effect meaningful change, Sallinder combines her fundraising acumen with a flair for innovation to craft compelling events that make a lasting impact. Nosa Iyobhebhe, hair & makeup artist

Nosa Iyobhebhe is a hair and makeup artist who primarily works in film, high-end TV and theatre. She has worked with some of the biggest names in Hollywood and across various platforms including Netflix, BBC and Disney. Nosa Iyobhebhe is also the founder of the Nosa Creatives platform, which is an exciting and wonderfully designed online art gallery. In her spare time she enjoys painting and getting involved in cultural exchange via different capacities. Over the years, her passionate application to her work and worthy causes has brought her before notable Icons and leaders like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, with whom she was able to share her experiences of creating awareness on mental health in her community. Nosa has been interested in creativity and art for as long as she can remember. They are cathartic, joyous and she derives an income from them.

Ian Allardyce, film director and cinematographer

I’ve been directing and shooting films for over ten years. I recently directed two feature length documentaries for The Sunday Times; during which I shot in Afghanistan and with HRH The Prince of Wales. I started my career in the nascent Mongolian TV industry where I directed the nation’s first talent show and worked on the BBC's Genghis Khan documentary. My love of the country led me to produce several Mongolian films which screened at major festivals such as Busan, Locarno, London Short Film Festival and many others. Azaa Tsamba, Photographer & Reporter for the Mongolian National Broadcasting

My journey began with engineering, leading me to work as a computer science professor at a University of Computer Science Management in Mongolia. While there, I also tapped into my creative side, working as a graphic designer for a TV studio. Upon moving to the UK, photography became my passion. I honed my skills at professional studios and now frequently work as a photographer and videographer at events. My work has taken me to prestigious events like the 11th Asia-Europe Summit, capturing presidents, prime ministers, and foreign ministers from over 50 countries. I've also documented the talents of Mongolian and international competitors at the BBC Cardiff Singer of the World and the Mongol Khan production. Beyond these highlights, I'm actively involved in the Mongolian community, shooting events for the diaspora and organisations like Creative Curating. Currently, I am an official reporter for the Mongolian National Broadcasting, based here in London.

Tumurtogtokh Davaakhuu, VFX pipeline technical director and photographer

As a VFX pipeline technical director, he has worked on some of the biggest movies in Hollywood and has been involved in post production of various projects across various studios including Netflix, Amazon Prime, Universal, Warner Bros, and Disney. Whilst he tackles technical challenges of film making, he focuses on the creative side for his photography where his photos are usually described as sensual, beautiful, and dreamy.
