Annual I Can Du It! Adaptive Duathlon - Race Support Volunteer

I had the privilege of volunteering at the annual I Can Du It! Adaptive Duathlon held by BDI Playhouse Children's Therapy on Sunday, September 22nd, 2024. I was truly humbled by the determination and resilience of all the athletes who participated. Their unwavering spirit was nothing short of inspiring, and I feel incredibly honored to have been part of such a powerful and transformative event. Sharing this experience with these amazing individuals is something I will carry with me for a long time. 

International Volunteer HQ - Marine Conservation Volunteer

As a Marine Conservation Volunteer with International Volunteer HQ, I traveled to Croatia to support environmental preservation efforts in the Adriatic Sea. During this experience, I participated in hands-on marine clean-up dives, removing garbage from coastal and underwater environments to help protect local ecosystems. I also cataloged and weighed daily waste collections, contributing valuable data to local scientists monitoring marine pollution. Through this program, I earned my SSI Scuba Diver Certification, strengthening both my technical diving skills and my commitment to marine conservation.
