主な専門分野は海洋物理学で、特に海表面付近の微細な流れ（乱流）や波浪が大規模な大気・海洋の環境に及ぼす影響に興味を持っています。コンピュータを用いたシミュレーションを主な道具としており、シミュレーションのためのモデルの開発・改良にも興味を持っています。
神戸大学では海洋基礎科学講座の一員として、基礎的な海洋科学の教育を行っています。

I work as an assistant professor at Graduate School of Maritime Sciences, Kobe University. My research focuses on ocean surface waves, their interactions with turbulence in the atmospheric and oceanic boundary layers, and numerical modeling of waves and ocean circulation.
