On the right, I created a simplified workflow process of the device's Arduino code.

When powered up (via a 9V battery), the device will display the current date and time.

The medical staff is prompted to set the alarm date, the code will store the alarm variable and write it into the device's internal clock.

The alarm will ring when the date and time are equal to the current date and time.
