Currently, I’m enrolled in Michigan State University for MS in Mechanical Engineering and specializing in Robotics and Controls. Also, I’m working as a Research Assistant to Prof. Vaibhav Shrivastava. We are working on multi-agent RRTs to figure out next step in Autonomous Vehicles. For this semester I’m working on an algorithm to navigate through dynamic obstacles. We can use more than one agent to map the whole surrounding and using the relative positions of the robots to improve our localization of a particular agent. We are trying to figure out the optimal way to do this, by using minimum data and sensors. And finally at the end of my thesis we are planning to implement this algorithm in Prof. Srivastava’s lab with multiple robots and obstacles, which will cover the mechatronics part of my studies. I am also going through course-work in Machine learning in this semester as I want to use the process of learning to improve this algorithm in later stage of my thesis.
