In this project I had to search examples of information security/cybersecurity .
in this project we will be look up for three articles that talks about different cybersecurity and ways to prevent it, also, some situations that happened in reality.
More and more people are becoming victims of identity theft. Nearly 1.4 million reports of the crime were lodged with the Federal Trade Commission in 2020 - more than double the number of complaints in 2019. In some cases, credit card companies and banks may revert any fraudulent charges, making identity theft seem like a minor inconvenience at first. However, if not handled quickly, it may prove financially devastating.

Multiple artists started their day falling victim to a hacking incident. The YouTube channels of Justin Bieber, Drake, Eminem – who have a collective 145.9 million subscribers – as well as many other A-list celebrities, seem to have been hacked early Tuesday morning. According to a statement, unauthorized sources directly uploaded videos to a small number of Vevo artist channels earlier today. All of these improperly uploaded videos were deleted by Vevo. The source was not able to access preexisting content. As a best practice, Vevo will conduct a review of our security systems after the artist channels are secured and the incident has been resolved.

Hive, a ransomware gang, claims to have stolen sensitive information from 850,000 members of Partnership HealthPlan of California, a charity that offers health care to medical patients in 14 counties. On March 21, the health plan notified a local community health center that its computer systems were offline. Last Monday, Partnership, which serves over 618,000 medical patients in 14 Northern California counties, posted a single page on its website explaining that it is experiencing "technical issues, resulting in a disruption to certain computer systems." It also claims that 400 gigabytes of data were stolen from Partnership's file server, including "850 thousand unique records of names, dates of birth, residences, phone numbers, and other personal information.
