Yapper Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Yapper. By using Yapper, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
Eligibility
Yapper is only for users age 13 and older. Users under 13 may not create an account or use Yapper.
If you are 13-17, Teen Safety Mode applies. Teen Safety Mode disables direct/private messaging features. Teen users may still use public feed features.
By using Yapper, you confirm that the age information you provide is accurate.
Anonymous Use
Yapper is designed for anonymous posting. You should not post personal information that identifies you or someone else. Although public usernames are anonymous aliases, Yapper still uses internal account identifiers to operate the app, enforce rules, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
User Content
You are responsible for the content you post, reply with, upload, record, send, or otherwise share through Yapper, including text, images, GIFs, audio, and direct messages.
You keep any rights you have in your content. By using Yapper, you grant Yapper a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, process, transmit, and use your content as needed to operate, promote, moderate, secure, and improve Yapper.
Do not post content that violates the law or someone else's rights.
Prohibited Conduct
You may not:
Harass, threaten, stalk, bully, or intimidate others
Post hate speech, violent threats, or targeted abuse
Sexualize minors or post child sexual abuse material
Post or request explicit sexual content involving minors
Share private personal information about others without consent
Impersonate others or mislead users
Spam, scam, manipulate votes, or abuse rewards
Upload malware or attempt to disrupt Yapper
Attempt to bypass bans, moderation, rate limits, age restrictions, or security controls
Use Yapper to coordinate illegal activity
Scrape, reverse engineer, or misuse Yapper data
Location-Based Features
Yapper uses location to support local feeds and local posting. Local yaps are intended for people in the relevant local radius. You may also use global feeds where available. Do not use Yapper to track, identify, or target another person's location.
Direct Messages
Direct messages are available only to adult accounts. Yapper may disable or restrict direct messages for safety, moderation, legal, or security reasons.
Rewards and Shop Items
Yapper may include doubloons, alias packs, profile extras, highlighted yaps, treasures, or other in-app rewards. These are virtual features only. They have no cash value, are not redeemable for money, and may be changed, limited, revoked, or discontinued at any time.
Moderation
Yapper may remove, hide, restrict, or review content or accounts at any time. Yapper may ban users, delete posts, disable replies or messages, limit posting, or take other action to protect users and the app.
Reports and moderation tools are provided to help keep Yapper safe, but Yapper does not guarantee that all objectionable content will be immediately detected or removed.
Account Deletion
You may request account deletion by contacting:contact@yappersocial.com. Some information may be retained where needed for safety, abuse prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement.
No Warranties
Yapper is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that Yapper will always be available, error-free, secure, or free from objectionable content.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Yapper and its developer are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, reputation, profits, or goodwill arising from your use of Yapper.
Changes to Yapper or These Terms
We may update Yapper or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
