Yapper Child Safety Policy

Effective date: June 26, 2026

Yapper is committed to protecting minors and preventing abuse. Yapper is only for users age 13 and older.

Minimum Age

Users under 13 are not allowed to create an account or use Yapper. Yapper asks for date of birth during onboarding to confirm eligibility.

If a user indicates they are under 13, account creation is denied and signup may be temporarily locked for that account/device until the user is old enough to use Yapper.

Teen Safety Mode

Teen Safety Mode is automatically enabled for users ages 13-17.

Violating this policy may result in removal of content, permanent bans, and reports to appropriate authorities.

Reporting and Moderation

Users can report posts or replies from within the app. Yapper may review reports, remove content, ban users, and preserve safety records where needed to investigate abuse or comply with law.

Blocking

Users can block other users. Blocking helps reduce unwanted interactions and hides the blocked user's content from the blocker where supported.

Law Enforcement and Legal Requests

Yapper may preserve or disclose information when required by law, legal process, emergency safety concerns, or to report suspected exploitation or abuse.

Parent or Guardian Requests

Parents or guardians may contact Yapper about safety concerns, suspected underage use, or deletion requests at: contact@yappersocial.com.

Ongoing Safety

Yapper may update safety tools, moderation processes, age checks, restrictions, and reporting options over time to improve protection for minors and the broader community.
