Yanji Chen (陈彦吉)

Biography [Resume]

Yanji Chen is an active research scientist in the field of software engineering, formal methods, and semantic web services applied to cognitive radio. He has authored and co-authored nine journals and conference papers in these fields. One of his papers won the best paper award in WinComm 2015. He completed his Ph.D. in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at Northeastern University in 2020, supervised by Prof. Mitch Kokar. Before joining Northeastern, he received his M.S. in computer science and engineering and B.S. in computer science and technology from Harbin Institute of Technology and Jilin University, China, respectively.

• [06/18/2021] I got one journal paper accepted by Journal on Data Semantics (JDS).

• [07/13/2020] I successfully defended my Ph.D. dissertation titled "Metrics-based comparison of OWL and XML for representing and querying cognitive radio capabilities".

• [02/16/2020] I got one journal paper accepted by International Journal of Web Engineering and Technology (IJWET).

• [06/08/2018] I presented my Ph.D. proposal titled "Metrics-based comparison of OWL and XML based approaches to representing and querying cognitive radio capabilities".
