Working Experience

• Feb. 2025 - Now: I will work as a researcher at the Beijing Academy of Artificial Intelligence. I will mainly focus on 3D perception and spatial AI for robotics.  

• Dec. 2023 - Dec. 2024: I am working as a Research Fellow at the Robotics Institute, University of Technology Sydney. Collaborating with Prof. Shoudong Huang, I am doing research on visual SLAM for surgical environments. 

• Dec. 2021 - Dec. 2023: I worked as a Research Fellow in the School of Computing, College of Engineering and Computer Science, Australian National University. Collaborating with Prof. Hongdong Li, I am doing research for the Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project "3D computer vision for camera-based precise geo-localization". 

• Aug. 2021 - Nov. 2021: I worked as a part-time Research Engineer in the School of Mechanical and Mechatronic Engineering, University of Technology Sydney. Collaborating with Prof. Shoudong Huang and Dr. Liang Zhao, I did the research for the ARC Discovery Project "Visual Simultaneous Localization and Mapping in Deformable Environments".

• May 2018 - Nov. 2019: I worked as a part-time Research Assistant in the UTS: RI. Collaborating with Prof. Shoudong Huang and Dr. Liang Zhao, I contributed to the industrial project "Development of Precision Localisation Technology for a Mobile Platform Operating in Industrial Environment".

• Aug. 2017 - Dec. 2021: I studied for my Ph.D. in Robotics at the University of Technology Sydney, supervised by Prof. Shoudong Huang and Dr. Liang Zhao. 

• Sep. 2014 - Jan. 2017: I studied for my Master in Applied Statistics at Northeastern University (China).

• Sep. 2010 - Jun. 2014: I studied for my Bachelor in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics at Northeastern University (China).

• Jul. 2021: I contributed to the origination of the international winter school "IEEE RAS Winter School on SLAM in Deformable Environments". I served as the tutor, developer, and supervisor of a group project, and the coordinator and host of the Social Networking section. 

• Apr. 2021: Our paper Anchor selection for SLAM based on graph topology and sub-modular optimization was accepted by IEEE Transactions on Robotics.

• Jul. 2020: Our paper Dense Isometric Non-Rigid Shape-From-Motion Based on Graph Optimization and Edge Selection was accepted by IEEE Robotics and Automation Letters with the IROS option. [CORE2020 A]
