About Me
Dr. Yang Zhang is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor in Data Science within the Department of Data Science at the University of North Texas, USA and an Honorary Lecturer in the School of Computing at Macquarie University, Australia.
Dr. Yang Zhang was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow (July 2023- Present) and Sessional Lecturer (July 2023- Present) at Macquarie University, specializing in Natural Language Processing, the Science of Science, and Artificial Intelligence. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the School of Computing at Macquarie University in 2023, receiving the Vice-Chancellor’s Commendation Award for his thesis. Additionally, he obtained a Ph.D. in Information Science from the School of Information Management at Wuhan University in 2024. Dr. Yang Zhang has made notable research contributions, with his work published in leading international conferences and journals. Alongside his research, he has accumulated extensive teaching experience in both online and offline environments. Dr. Zhang has served as a Course Examiner, Lecturer, and Guest Lecturer across various units and courses, consistently receiving positive feedback from students for his engaging teaching style and ability to clearly explain complex concepts.
