Yang (Nicole) SHI

Overview:

I am a Lecturer (Assistant Professor) in Department of Finance (Property and Real Estate). My primary research interests lie in real estate finance and behavioral economics in housing markets. I am also interested in online economics and platforms such as PropTech and FinTech. I received my PhD degree in Finance from The University of Melbourne. Previously, I obtained an MPhil in Real Estate and Finance from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, an MSc in Banking and Financial Market from the University of Bath, and a BSc in Mathematics and Applied Mathematics (major) and Finance (minor) from Shanghai University. My research has been presented at several international real estate and finance conferences, including AREUEA-ASSA and AFA, and published in Information Systems Research. I serve as an ad hoc reviewer for PLOS ONE, Regional Science and Urban Economics, and Accounting and Finance.
