Safonova's lab at Penn State

Computational Immunogenomics Lab

Dr. Yana Safonova's lab at Penn State University develops computational tools for comparative and personalized immunogenomics and studies adaptive immune systems and responses.

We analyze antibody and T-cell repertoires, as well as germline immunoglobulin and T-cell receptor loci in humans, model organisms, agricultural animals (cattle, sheep, horse), endangered species (black-footed ferrets, bighorns, elks), and disease reservoirs (rodents, bats) using modern biotechnologies.

We are hiring PhD students and postdocs

Come work with us in the exciting field of immunogenomics!
