These standards contain arrangements to safeguard and promote the welfare of children for whom accommodation is provided by boarding schools.
Assessing the quality of boarding schools, may be used by schools and staff in self-assessing their services; they may provide a basis for the induction and training of staff; they can be used by parents/cares, children and young people as a guide to what they should expect a school to do; and they can provide guidance on what is required when schools set up boarding or residential provision.
Introduction
This page is intended as a quick reference guide for all involved in residential services at YAMP. The objective is for staff use it as a guideline for work, create self-awareness of responsibilities to bring high efficiency, success, and the stability of both personnel and the standard of boarding school. Staff should aware of and understand this staff handbook include all the rules and regulations.

Statement of Aims
YAMP boarding school is an integral part of (Pre- College) Young Artist Music Program, College of Music, Mahidol University. The School has a policy Statement of Boarding principles and practices, included in this Handbook.
Our boarding seeks to:
• Be a happy and purposeful community where people matter.
• Setting and maintaining a positive guide, friendly but purposeful ethos and high standard in the residence areas.
• Sustaining an environment in which it is pleasant to live and which is conducive to boarders’ academic and musical studies specifically and to their personal development generally.
