Welcome to the official web-page of the Young Astronomers’ Meet (YAM) – 2025 II
An initiative actively supported by the Astronomical Society of India, the Young Astronomers’ Meet (YAM) provides a vibrant platform for emerging researchers in astronomy, astrophysics, and cosmology from across India to present their research, exchange ideas, and foster collaborations with peers.
The 2025 II edition of YAM will be proudly hosted by the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU), Varanasi, from December 5 to December 7, 2025. Through a series of talks, poster sessions, panel discussions, and networking activities, this event will nurture intellectual growth and inspire innovative collaborations within the Indian astronomy community.
Based on the abstract submissions, 80 students will be selected for in-person presentations and attendance at the meet. Accommodation will be arranged for the selected outstation candidates at the Hotel Yug Residency Varanasi.
Travel support will be provided, on request, to a limited number of participants, depending on the avilability of funds. We look forward to seeing you at the meet and to the exciting conversations and collaborations that will shape the next generation of space scientists!
