Fridays this fall CAPE is excited to offer classes in
Agriculture, Music Appreciation, Home Economics,  
an Land Animals Elem Exploration Class and Homeschool PE
Classes start September 13 and run through November 1, 2024
8 weeks of classes!

We will also be offering  Art Class (starting Sept. 9th) on Mondays at 3:30pm
Chess Club will be Mondays too (note day change)

AGRICULTURE
CAPE is offering an agriculture class for
4th grade and up.
We are excited to have Christa Leach teaching
this 8-week class:

"This class will teach students 4-6th grades about how agriculture is in our everyday life. We will explore commodities such as fruit, dairy, cattle, wool and wheat. There is reading and some writing in all lessons. We will learn and share information with each other through hands-on activities, worksheets, projects, and small informal presentations. I look forward to working with and teaching your students in fall. I will be asking for a small fee just to cover supplies. Thank you in advance and we will see you in class!"  -- Teacher Christa

MUSIC APPRECIATION

4th graders and up.  This 8-week course will take your child through an introduction all types of music and activities .Be prepared to listen to a wide range of music as we talk about musical terms, learn a little music theory, meet different composers, sing, conduct and play music.  $15 fee per student.

ELEMENTARY EXPLORATION:
LAND ANIMALS
For K thru 3rd grade we are offering "Land Animals" a class where we will explore different land animals and how they are in God's creation. 
This class will be Parent-led.  $15 fee per student.

We will pick teachers/helpers from the sign up sheet.

HOME ECONOMICS

Offered to students 7th grade and up. 

Home Economics is being offered to students in 7th grade and up. Our teacher, Jammie, has many ideas planned to name a few: cooking, sewing and whatever else she wants to teach to our students!!   We are sure your students will walk away with some new knowledge .Open to both boys and girls!!   $15 fee per student.

HOMESCHOOL PE

Led by homeschool moms, homeschool PE is open to all students ages 5 through high school.
Our PE class will be Friday mornings at
Yakima Valley Church.
There is no cost for this class and it is open
to all CAPE students.
Parent volunteers are encouraged to help.

CAPE is excited to offer Agriculture, Music Appreciation, Home Economics and Land Animal classes this fall on Friday mornings.  As a part of this program, CAPE will provide preschool for the younger siblings (ages 3-5) of students attending classes from 10-10:50am. Note: this is not being offered to families that are not participating in our classes . Mom rotation.
$10 fee per child.

WHERE:  Tieton Bible Church  

WHO: CAPE Members age 5 and up  (no preschoolers)
COST: $80 per student (includes 8 classes and materials)

LIMIT:  We have a  40 student limit.
Registration will close when we reach 40 students.  
Pay and sign up BEFORE Class starts!

Chess Club

CAPE Chess Club is open to CAPE members 3rd grade and higher.  Kids will have fun learning the fundamentals of chess and will be encouraged to play chess with others to improve their chess playing abilities.
We will meet on  Mondays from 3:30 to 5:30
at Tieton Bible Chapel in Yakima.
