Welcome! I am Yabin Yin (尹雅彬), a Postdoctoral Fellow at Faculty of Business and Economic, the University of Hong Kong. I obtained my PhD in Social Science from Hong Kong University of Science and Technology in 2025.  I will join the James M. and Cathleen D. Stone Centre on Socio-Economic Inequality in Asia, the University of Hong Kong as a Postdoctoral Fellow since July 2026. 

My research interests are in the fields of development economics, labor economics, and political economy. My current works focus on the water-related gender inequality and conflicts in developing regions, as well as health costs of ideological policies.
