General Information:

Each student’s Young Achiever display will contain 4 images and a biographical sketch. 

**Please limit your wardrobe to 3 outfits**

The photography and viewing sessions will be conducted during the same appointment. Please allow approximately 2.5 to 3 hours for your session. Be prepared to bring any decision-makers to your appointment.

Due to time constraints, the Photography session will be simplified. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to your Session. If you are late, you will be asked to reschedule. 


Clothing:

Three Different Outfits:

DRESSY: Girls may bring a church dress or dressy pants and a top. Guys may bring a nice shirt. “Dressy” may include any outfit you and your parents consider dressy.

CASUAL: You may wish to bring jeans and a sweater/shirt/blouse. Casual clothes should be ones that you like, and in which you look your best. Solid colors work best.

ACTIVITY: Your choice. This is your opportunity to express your interests. We ask that you keep props to a minimum and limit your Trophies to a maximum of 2. 

Things to Remember:

*Please make sure your fingernails are trimmed and cleaned or painted with a FRESH coat of nail polish.

*Girls please bring a hairbrush and hair spray to control stray hair as they will show in your photographs.

*Lips: If your lips are chapped then please apply ChapStick, lip gloss, or lipstick.

*Iron clothing if needed. Wrinkles in clothing do show up under the studio lights.


Props:

Props are intended to be representative of your unique combination of talents, activities, hobbies, and interests. Therefore, these PROPS MUST BE BROUGHT BY YOU. Props will NOT be provided for you.


EXAMPLES:

Sports: Any sports gear, school jackets, t-shirts, uniforms, sports equipment, Please LIMIT TO TWO TROPHIES.

Clubs: Club banners, plaques, gavels, uniforms, western attire: hat, boots, chaps, bridle, saddle, etc., computer equipment, awards.

Music: Band instruments, uniforms, keyboard, microphone, guitars, records, stereo, etc ...

Visual Arts: Dance shoes, costumes, artwork, art supplies, camera, photos.

Outdoors: Hunting/Camping equipment, camouflage, bow, and arrows, mounted animals; fishing rods, tackle box. ** NO FIREARMS**

Collections: Cartoon items, Disney characters, movies, Legos, posters, animal print items, coins, cards, stamps, comic books, Hot Wheels, model cars, dolls, books, cultural items, etc.

Religious: Choir robes, Bibles, devotional items, church t-shirts, religious collections.

Pets: Pets are allowed. Cats or small animals must be in a carrier. Bring treats and their favorite toy. Dogs must be on a leash. Please walk your dog before entering the studio and just before the session to prevent “accidents”.

Horses or other large animals can be photographed here, but please let us know in advance.
