Guest Speakers

We are pleased to announce that the 15th Workshop on Formal Linguistics at the Faculty of Letters of the Federal University of Minas Gerais, from May 25 to 29, 2026.

Now in its 15th edition, the Workshop on Formal Linguistics is a well-established event in Theoretical Linguistics in Brazil and abroad. In this edition, we intend for the event to continue serving as a forum for discussion of high-quality research on the description of natural languages using formal approaches.  

This edition will also feature a special issue on “tense and aspect.” Therefore, in addition to welcoming papers on any topic in linguistics explored through formal approaches,  we look forward to receiving contributions for this special session.
