WESTMINSTER REBELLION

From early 2020 until lockdown WXR maintained a presence at the Palace of Westminster to protest against successive governments' inaction on the climate catastrophe and ecological disaster and to engage members of both houses in conversation. We will resume on Monday 14 September and continue to do so until at least November 2021 when COP26 is due to take place in Glasgow.

Anyone is welcome to join this protest which is a lawful action. Click here to get involved.

This protest will be self organised, meeting daily at 11:00am at Carriage Gate, the vehicle access point to the Palace of Westminster.

It is recommended that each day a coordinator is chosen, either in advance or on the day.

It is not permitted to attach anything to the railings around the parliament building, and no structures of any kind.

The prime minister usually arrives at 11:30am on a Wednesday for PMQ's.
