We are soliciting extended abstracts (up to 2 pages, excluding references) to be presented as posters, and as 3-minute spotlight talks during the workshop. Accompanying live demos are most welcome!
POSTER PRIZES
The poster session will be held as a competition! The adjudged winners will be awarded with prizes from Nvidia and Microsoft, to go with the winners' certificates from the workshop

SUBMISSION DETAILS
Submission: By email to the following address: vicarios(at)iit[dot]it. Please use “[XR-ROB2022] Abstract | [name][surname]” (of first author) in the email subject line.
Format: Submissions can follow the usual IEEE RAS 2-column conference template
Single Blind Review: All submissions to the workshop will follow the single-blind review process
Page Limit: Submissions can be up to 2 pages, excluding references and appendices
Dual Submission:
Papers to be submitted or in preparation for other venues (e.g., ICRA, IEEE VR, ISMAR, etc.) in the field are welcome
We also welcome recently accepted or published works.
Visibility: Submissions and reviews will not be made public. Only accepted papers will be made public via the workshop’s page. This workshop will not have official / archival proceedings. The complete workshop may be video recorded for later release on Youtube.

Workshop @ IROS 2022: SUN, October 23rd, 2022 (All Day, Japan Standard Time) **
** UPDATE 25/Jul/2022: If you wish to attend in-person, please follow the IROS 2022 workshop guidelines here and fill in the participation form here. Filling in the form is important because the room assignments at the venue will be based on number of registered participants. The early registration deadline for W+T-only is August 22nd!
** UPDATE 20/Jun/2022: It has been finalized that the IROS 2022 conference will be fully in-person, with the online participation option. Therefore the workshop will also be in-person, with the option of online participation. The authors of accepted abstracts who wish to travel to Kyoto will need to register for the conference - one can register only for the workshops as well. The travel agency JTB will then assist the registered people to organize for the visas. Please refer to https://iros2022.org/registrationvisa/visa/ for more details. The deadline for visa organization is September 20th!
