Confetti Parti embraces designing with our senses. We will be carefully constructing confetti arrangements from inclinations toward color, pattern, texture ,and shape. Inspired by the artisanal craftsmanship of weaving, tiling, mosaics, and collage, the arrangements will be applied to architectural form. Through this workshop, students will gain material knowledge of architectural materials and build a sense of style. Students will construct physical models of their final composition which will be part of our Confetti Parti exhibition.

. ݁₊ ⊹ . ݁ Sharing Surfaces ݁ . ⊹ ₊ ݁.

"Sharing Surfaces" is a collaborative effort inspired by the architecture of the buildings in the Los Angeles art district. Each group member focused on different LA buildings. Upon selecting individual buildings and photographing the references, the group was tasked to incorporate individual unique artistic interpretations and construct a three-dimensional structure utilizing only two-three folds each. Following the development of individual designs, we were encouraged to merge them into a cohesive new architectural form.
