About XIPT

Xavier Institute of Polytechnic and Technology (XIPT) - A technical unit of Xavier Institute of Social Service (XISS) was established in 2010 at Bargawan, Namkum, Ranchi. XIPT is the first diploma level technical institute by the Ranchi Jesuit Society in Jharkhand. In such sort period of time, XIPT has set a benchmark for polytechnic colleges of Jharkhand.

XIPT is affiliated to Jharkhand University of Technology (JUT), Jharkhand and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

The institute has a sprawling campus spread across an area of more than 10 acres of land, beside the Tata Road and offers peaceful and safe learning environment. XIPT offers barrier free environment with best in class infrastructure among its peers. The institute emphasizes disciplined learning environment and has signed Memorandum of Understanding with industries for the exposure of students to the relevant industries and technologies.

Electrical and Electronics Engineering - 120 seats
Mechanical Engineering - 120 seats
