Hi, welcome to my site. 

I am a psycholinguist working on the cognitive, neural, and genetic bases of first (L1) and second (L2) language learning and processing. My participants include native language speakers, language learners, and special populations (e.g., children and adults with autism spectrum disorder).

I'm currently working as a Professor and Pricinpal Investigator in the Research Centre for Language, Cognition, and Language Application at Chongqing University (CQU). Before joining CQU, I was working in Prof. Patrick CM Wong's lab as a research associate and postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Linguistics and Modern Languages and Brain and Mind Institute at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. 

I completed my Ph.D. studies in Psychology (Advisor: Prof. Gerry Altmann) in the Department of Psychology at the University of York.
