Biography:

I am currently a staff research scientist at Facebook specializing on ads delivery machine learning and optimization. Previously, I completed my Ph.D. at the Department of Electrical and System Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania (UPenn) under supervision of Prof. Victor M. Preciado, as well as dual Master's degree from the Wharton School of Statistics in July 2019. Before that, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering (Honors Research Option) from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) in 2013. 

Research Interests:

• Analysis, control and optimization of dynamic processes in large-scale complex networks, with applications in epidemic spreading processes and transportation systems;

• Analysis and control design of structural linear dynamical systems via graph theory;

• Robust and optimal control via measure-theoretic approach and operator theory.

The tools and techniques used in my research include control theory, graph theory, probability and statistics, convex optimization and machine learning.
