The Qiao Lab is positioned at the intersection of statistical methodology and biomedical applications, with the overarching goal of supporting cancer prevention and improving therapeutic strategies.

The current research focuses on developing quantitative methods for high-dimensional omics studies, particularly in microbiome and epigenetics, as well as Bayesian dynamic borrowing approaches to incorporate historical control data in clinical trials.
