Professional Statement

I am a songwriter and guitarist with nearly 30 years of experience in music. My love for music began when I was eight years old. Over the years, I've had the chance to work with grammy winning recording artists like Stevie Wonder and Chris Brown, which has helped me improve my skills and accomplish career goals the music industry.

Currently, I am studying interdisciplinary studies at Savannah State University. This means I am learning how to connect music with technology, engineering, and business. I believe that bringing these areas together will help me find new ways to support my artistry and excel in todays evolving music industry. I want to use what I learn to make a difference and help other aspiring musicians and artist reach their goals too.

I’m proud of my achievements, including winning a GMA Dove Award and getting Grammy nominations. As I work toward my degree, I am excited to gain more skills that will help me succeed in both music and the business side of things. I look forward to graduating in Spring 2025 and becoming a creative professional who can make a positive impact in the music industry.
