Xeryus Gittens is a signed "Universal Music Publishing Group" songwriter and touring guitarist residing in Atlanta, Georgia.
Growing up between Fort Lauderdale, Florida and Macon, Georgia, Xeryus began playing the guitar at just 8 years old. He took private lessons for several years before playing at his uncle’s church Pastor "Dr. Stephen D. Summerow," through his senior year of high school.
Upon leaving for college, Xeryus started playing at local talent shows and uploading covers onto his YouTube page to gain awareness. Throughout his time in college, at 19 years old Xeryus had the opportunity to meet and work with executive producer multi-platinum Troy Taylor, who mentored him on songwriting and production.
Xeryus later moved to Atlanta, Georgia where he started collaborating with other local producers and eventually landed his first major guitar solo placement on August Alsina’s “Porn Star." During his time in Atlanta, at age 22 Xeryus was introduced to executive producer Stephen A. Jordan, notably known for his group "Hitmen" began mentoring him. From ages 25-35, Xeryus worked in Los Angeles, CA and gained a highly notable name for himself in todays music industry.
Xeryus’ consistency and perseverance with his talent throughout the past 27 years has allowed him to amass great success within the music industry. He has won several awards, including the 2019 GMA Dove Award, 3 Grammy nominations in 2022, & in credited on numerous gold and platinum awarded albums.
Xeryus has worked with artist such as Stevie Wonder, Dru Hill, Chris Brown, Mya, Future, Justin Bieber, Jazmine Sulivan, Rick Ross, and amongst many other artists. Further, Xeryus has has toured national wide with Eric Bellinger and Trippie Redd.
As an artist, Xeryus hopes to not only establish longevity in the music industry but to also be one of the greatest songwriters and guitarists of his generation. Additionally, he wishes to help other aspiring artists achieve their goals while continuing to further his own career.
