Introduction
After careful examination, it appears that Alien vs. Predator (2004) and Prometheus (2012) are designed in a manner that they could essentially be described as the same movie, and a similar case could be made for Aliens vs. Predator: Requiem (2007) and Alien: Covenant (2017). It certainly makes you wonder if Ridley Scott had some secret crush on the AVP films that he felt he needed to rip them off or something. Although these similarities are almost certainly coincidental, at the same time it's almost suspiciously incredible.
