If the machine is doing its job that doesn’t mean it’s perfect, to have a perfect machine you should monitor your machine and analyze its job; to effectively control it. We used Microsoft power BI and PostgreSQL for data analyzing and processing for the machine report.

Microsoft power BI

We insert this csv file into Microsoft power BI and did some data processing for these data to clear it and to be more elegant. When we finish clearing and processing the data, we did our visualization for those data.

We ran the XBM-FA3C and controlled it by control by time option; variable option, we change the time variable three times: 5 seconds, 7 seconds and 20 seconds, we plotted the number of bent sheets vs time for the three time variables, and you can notice that when we increase the time variable the number of sheets decrease.

As we do in the time variable option, we do the same with the time factor, we change the time factor three times: 1, 2 and 3, we plot the number of bent sheets vs time for the three time factors, and you can notice when we increase the time factor the number of sheets decrease.

PostgreSQL

Another option of system monitoring is to insert the data into PostgreSQL, by creating tables and build relations with the data to query commands by PostgreSQL.

Why we are using this? The answer is to efficiently find what we are looking for in our system data log, for example, if we want to see how much times our system has interlock, and what is that interlock? In which time? Date? As we see in the following video.
