The XC-Sauer is a competition for hiking paragliding pilots held between the various sites of the Cumulux Paragliding Club around the Sauer Valley. The race will take place on 17-18th May 25. All paragliding enthusiasts who are in possession of a pilot's licence can take part.
We are also planning to activate our paragliding sector Michelau and can thus go up to FL 50. A briefing will be offered in the morning.

Compulsory passage of the PA waypoint opens access to the Rookies category.
The waypoints are to be passed in the given order (B1, B2, B3, etc.).
Waypoints are designated for the Warriors and Heroes categories.
Example: B4 opens access to Warriors and B6 to Heroes. The pilot who reaches B7 is considered Heroes and is classified as such, the pilot who reaches B3 is classified as a Rookie.
Calculation of points :
Paragliding Accuracy (PA) :
Maximum is 500 points (centre of target), each centimetre of distance costs 1 point.
Turn points:
500 points are gained by reaching each turn point.
In case of a tie, the fastest pilot wins.
