Base Rules
Swords and shields is a drinking game.
Swords and shields is played across 10 rounds. The aim of each round is to be the player with the highest unique* number in the round.
Each round players secretly place one card face down in front of them.
Once all players have selected their cards, the cards are turned over. The highest unique number wins the round.
Any player not winning the round must drink one finger* of alcohol
Any player who has placed a number that matches with another number played must drink two fingers of alcohol.
Once a card has been played it is removed from the game.
Sword and Shield rules
Any player who matches numbers with another player should compare their sword or/and shield symbols.
If any player have matching symbols they must drink two fingers of alcohol.
If the symbols do not match the player with the shield is immune from drinking.
If the symbols do not match any player with the sword has struck and may pass the drinking forfeit to any un-shielded player.
* Unique refers to a number in which only one of it's kind that has been played in the round.
* A finger refers to a volume the is approximately equal to the width and and length of your bottle and the depth of your index finger.
