All-afternoon and evening games day

Join us to celebrate three years of Wyvern Tabletop Games Club.

at Bishampton Villages Hall, WR10 2LY

This is our third nearly-all-day event. Drop in at any time. Come on your own, or in a group.

We'll be bringing an extensive games library. You can also bring your own games to share (at your own risk), or join in with other people's games.

Bar available for drinks and snacks, and you can BYO as usual.

We'll have a pizza catering truck in the car park for evening food (also available to the wider village). If you don't eat pizza, the kitchen including oven and microwave will be available on request.

Please join the Facebook group and then RSVP for this Event. There are no tickets. But in the extreme event that we run into any capacity issues, priority will be given to people who have registered to attend on the Facebook Event.

Itinerary - and FREE booking for pre-scheduled games

Throughout the day you can just turn up and play games. No need to pre-arrange anything.

However... some larger games may be booked in advance to facilitate organisation. Please register FREE for these games with the organiser on our Facebook Group or WhatsApp Group. See details below.

These are informal, free seat reservations. There is no right or obligation conferred, and we reserve the right to cancel individual games on the day without prior notice (this might happen if insufficient numbers attend or the volunteer is unable to run the game for any reason). We will endeavour to let you know in advance if that happens, but we can make no guarantee. Equally, as a courtesy to the volunteer hosting the game, please let the organiser know in good time if you find you are no longer able to attend.

Find a table. Join a game or start a game. Come on your own or in a group. Roll some dice, draw some cards, move some little pieces, don't flip the table! You can RSVP on on the Facebook Event for general admission.

BRING 'N' BUY

We'll be running a casual Bring n Buy at this event. Sellers note: will need to provide a mobile phone number and/or Paypal address or similar to accept payment; attach this information to your games (e.g. using a Post-it note). If you bring a game to sell, make sure it is complete, or add a note to explain what is missing or damaged. However, buyers note: that regardless of information provided, you will be buying these pre-owned games "as seen".

What is happening?

This isn't a convention or a pop-up games shop. We're just playing games. We don't know how busy it'll be but there should be plenty of space. Capacity will be monitored. Our regular Second Sunday sessions (in the evenings) usually have around 25 to 30 games-players. The more the merrier for this event!

Who can come to this event?

Anyone! You don't have to be a Wyvern regular to come to this Extended Edition Games Day and you might be entirely new to the group. All ages welcome (children must be accompanied by a responsible adult). There is an accessible toilet and most tables and all food etc will be downstairs in the accessible main hall.

Does it cost anything?

As with our regular second-Sundays events, we accept a voluntary contribution on the door toward venue hire, recommended £0 first-timers, £2 thereafter. (We're not altering that amount even for this extended event.)

Is this instead of the regular second-Sunday session in September?

This would have been the day of the regular Second Sunday event anyway - it just starts much earlier.

Who's running this event?

Wyvern Tabletop Games Club is a friendly, inclusive, welcoming group. We are informally run by a locally-based family team.
