160 Downriver or 830 Downriver Park & Ride (transfer at Meijer Southgate) will bring you to the lively Round House BBQ, the Kennedy Ice Arena & Aquatic Center, two performing arts theaters and the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center (160 only). It's also home to the annual Summer Festival. 160 and 830 swing through Trenton, from Fort Street to King Road to West Jefferson to out on West Road. 160 stops on West Jefferson between 3rd and Slocum Streets will bring you within a short walk from historic Elizabeth Park.
160 and 830 cross through on Fort Street. Stops are just minutes' walks from multiple parks, the Nike Missile Base, Concessi's and A Serendipity Cakery. Riverview is also host to the annual Summerfest.
Both routes 125 and 160 serve Downtown Southgate, with additional access to the edges provided on routes 140 and 830. 125 will take you west along Eureka Road to Twin Peaks, Mexican Gardens, Black Pine Tree Sushi Bar, Southland Mall and Metro Airport, and north along Fort Street to Galindo's and Nankin Hobby. 160, after following the 125 from Trenton Road to Southland, heads back into Southgate along Northline Road to Hungarian Rhapsody, Downriver Family YMCA, Mallie's Sports Grill & Bar (famous for their giant burgers), Wayne County Community College and Southland. Ride up from Wyandotte for Heritage Days, Market in the Park, shopping at Meijer (also a 160 and 830 transfer point), Kroger Marketplace or Walmart or to catch a movie at the MJR Digital Cinema 20. Eureka and Trenton provides transfers to 160 and 830 from 125.
125 and 140 serve most of Wyandotte. The Route Information page lists a few destinations in the city along each route. Various events are held downtown annually.
125 and 140 are, respectively, good for all points along Fort Street and Southfield Road in this Gateway to Downriver, and they intersect in Downtown Lincoln Park. Check out the many Mexican-American-owned restaurants and shops, bars, Lincoln Park Historical Museum, Lincoln Park Skating Center and events such as the annual Cinco de Mayo Celebration.
From here on down, this reminder is required: 125 only enters the city of Detroit during weekday peak. Off-peak and weekends, we will direct you to DDOT 19. 125 serves the neighborhoods of Boynton, Carbon Works, Delray, Springwells, Southwest, Hubbard Farms, Mexicantown, Hubbard-Richard, West Side Industrial and Corktown. Connections to DDOT are available at Schaefer, Dearborn, Livernois, Junction, Clark, Grand Boulevard and Trumbull.
A hip and trendy nirvana for baseball, basketball, football, hockey, dining, concerts, theater, dive bars, upscale restaurants, luxurious shopping and special events, it's where all of Detroit's main corridors come together in a backdrop of skyscraper canyons and the riverfront. 125 enters on Fort Street and crosses through on Griswold, Larned , Congress, Randolph and Jefferson. 125 buses depart every 30 minutes during weekday peak from Congress & Saint Antoine. Take Fast Michigan to Dearborn and Metro Airport, Fast Woodward to Midtown, New Center and Oakland County points or Fast Gratiot to Eastern Market and Macomb County points. Have fun!
