Once upon a time but not so long ago there was an aging business that was struggling to keep up with the times. They had a great history and a good reputation but were viewed as a bit of an old bastion of ages gone by. Within the business, there were whispers of discontent, and the leadership was starting to hear these whispers but they were unsure what to do.
One of the Product Managers within the business called Julia had an idea and they wanted to make sure this got into the market fast this time. They had read a bit about agile ways of working and lean practices and it tweaked an interest. So much so that Julia decided it was time to act and she took her idea to the leadership.
Both nervous and excited, Julia explained to the leadership why she wanted to try something new and the new thing she wanted to try was working with agility. The Business Leaders were curious as they had also heard about agile and whilst unsure, they trusted Julia and agreed to the experiment.
Julia had her team and her product vision. Now all Julia had to do was find a Scrum Master to help her make this happen!
