Cut out and paste sides to create a home made Dice. The Dice has 6 sides, 4 with the primary colours representing the 4 pillars , 1 side representing the Planet and 1 side the 18SDG love quotes. When a player lands on one of the pillars e.g Green/Ecology the player picks up a question card from the pillar pile. When the Player lands on the Planet or 18SDG a card is picked up from the specific pile.
Planet SDG Continent Card is divided into 8 Sections.
The 7 sections are for all 7 continents on our Planet.
The Planet section on the Continent card is related to general world issues/situations throughout the whole Planet.
Under each Continent and Planet section, there are 4 sustainable pillars, ECOLOGY, PEACE, HEALTH and EDUCATION. Question cards under the pillar piles are related to the official United Nations 17 SDG's.
When questions are answered correctly, the player will use a colour marker to fill in the circle according to the pillar. The objective is to finish all 8 sections with all circles coloured in.
When one of the continents/sections has been filled in, the Player will receive a Genius card used for hints.
The 4 pillars must be filled in on all the sections on the Continent card to finish.
These Cards represent the 4 pillars of sustainability ECOLOGY, PEACE, HEALTH and EDUCATION while using the 4 primary colours. These cards will be placed on top of 4 different piles of SDG questions related to the these pillars.
When a player lands on the Planet side of the dice, the player picks up a planet card. This card has general questions dealing with all 4 pillars and all SDG throughout the whole planet. Some questions are specific to a pillar however other question have more than one. All questions are general questions according to the planet as a whole and not specifically focused on one continent or one country. Pins are placed in the planet section on the continent card and are also placed on the map once the section is completely full.
A genius card is given once a Player has filled in all 4 pillars within a continent. This card is used to give the player a hint for future questions under the colour/pillar the player chooses. Once the card has been used it will be placed back on the genius card pile. The Player will then have a second chance without throwing the dice and is free to choose which pile of cards to pick from.
SDG 18 is not an official United Nation SDG however, Planet SDG has added this 18th SDG as a LOVE QUOTE. Its a reminder for all players to remember that through Love everything can be achieved.
To pick up a Card a player must land on the 18th love side on the Dice. The Player will read the quote out loud and will then without throwing the dice, choose a pillar and continue with the game. Players can keep the Love quote cards until the end of the game.
These question cards are divided into the 4 sustainable pillars including the United Nations SDG's. Starting with “Did you know” giving players a bit of knowledge on what is going on within the SDG’S on our planet. Players may do research and once the question is answered, pins are coloured in under the continent on the PLANET CONTINENT CARD and on the country on the WORLD MAP. Players can then brainstorm together ideas on problems, on solutions, on creations and on how to improve our Planet.
The world map will be used to help players distinguish locations on the planet while answering questions. Players may simultaneously mark their pin on the map as on the continent card. Extra questions answered by players may also mark their pins here. For example if a player has finished all Red/Health questions on the continent card but still hasn't finished the 8 sections on the continent card, but lands on red on the dice, the question answered may then be marked on the map. Pins can be marked with initials, players may use coloured markers to draw on the map or simply cut out coloured pins with a hole puncher.
