"Having the access and ability to support health care professionals within the Sacramento district has been a tremendous honor and blessing. Witnessing how handcrafted cards brought forth joy and delight in the days of our hard-working nurses was a meaningful and memorable experience. Personally, I felt a boost in my appreciation of all healthcare workers and developed an understanding of the stigmas and stereotypes which prevent healthcare professionals from feeling appreciated in their work. Through this experience, I learned about the importance of showing gratitude and positivity in all aspects of life.
